CROA residents – please be advised that we have had to make repairs on our waterlogged roads. Speeding on our roads that are in this condition can further complicate our preparation for the spring. According to people familiar with gravel roads, the main contributor to the potholes and really big mud puddles, 90% of it comes from speeders. This also includes the wash boarding that we find on various stretches. We cannot enforce the speed limit so it behooves us, in a nice way, to ask the speeders to slow down so that further damage isn't occurring. If we all do our part, it will go a long ways toward not raising the dues in the fall. Current economic conditions is probably affecting us all and a raise in dues may be unaffordable for some of our residents. Please do what you can to minimize the damage to our roads and this includes all of our residents and visitors, especially those that may not be familiar with the speed limit signs and are coming back in here to look at the homes for sale.
